Day 6: April 7, 2023

this morning the knock out round began. We face another local team called Quart. They come from the city of Girona. Again there were many parents in the stands singing with drums and trumpets. The game started badly for us as they scored a goal from a free kick in the firsts minutes.. We tried to go on the attack and that cost us two more goals against. When we lost 0-3 and there were barely 15 minutes left in the game, we brought out our best football and got us 2-3. We even had a chance to tie the game but in the end, we ended up conceding a couple more goals. The disappointment has been very big, but together as a team we will recover. In fact, in the afternoon we went to the beach to play beach soccer and the smiles have returned. I really enjoy being part of this team. My team mates are great!! We close the afternoon with a walk around the port and a well-deserved ice cream.
