Day 5: April 16, 2025

April 16 – Match Day & Montserrat Visit Wednesday was like a mirror image of the previous day, with the activities reversed. We started the day with a morning match at 11:00 AM against Club de Fútbol 25 de Setembre. Although we didn’t come away with a win, the teams were evenly matched, and it was a fantastic game full of learning moments and great sportsmanship. The players had a lot of fun and showed real progress. After the match, the group had some free time at a nearby shopping center to grab lunch and do a bit of shopping. In the afternoon, we headed out for a cultural excursion to Montserrat — and what a breathtaking place it is. We visited the museum, explored the stunning basilica, and of course, saw the famous statue of La Moreneta, the Black Madonna. We returned to the hotel in the evening and enjoyed dinner together, wrapping up another full and memorable day in Spain.
