Day 4: April 15, 2025

April 15 – Exploring Barcelona & RCDE Training Session After breakfast at 8:00 AM, we set off for a full day in Barcelona. Our day began with a guided walking tour through the heart of the city, starting at Estació de França. We were lucky to have two fantastic local guides, Mari Carmen and Valentina, who brought the city’s history and charm to life as we wandered through the beautiful and vibrant streets of Barcelona. Next, we visited the iconic Sagrada Família. The same guides accompanied us and shared fascinating insights and stories about Gaudí’s masterpiece — a definite highlight for many in the group. After the tour, families had free time to enjoy lunch on their own and explore a bit more of the city. At 4:00 PM, we met back up and headed to the Dani Jarque training facility for the second training session of the trip — this one hosted by coaches from RCD Espanyol. The players had a great time and trained hard during the hour-and-a-half clinic. Afterwards, we returned to the hotel for dinner and some well-deserved rest.
