Day 3: April 14, 2025

April 14 – First Full Day: Training & First Match We started the day early with breakfast at 7:45 AM, followed by a beach walk/training led by the coaches. Afterwards, we headed to a nearby soccer field in Calafell for a more formal training session that lasted about an hour and a half — perfect preparation for the afternoon match. After training, each family had some free time to enjoy lunch locally. We regrouped at 3:00 PM in the hotel lobby and boarded the bus to Masquefa, where the New Jersey team played their very first match in Spain against Fútbol Club Masquefa. And… we won! It was a great way to kick off the trip. We returned to the hotel in the evening and enjoyed a well-earned dinner together.
