Day 2: April 13, 2025

April 13 – Welcome to Spain! The group landed in Barcelona at 13:00, arriving 25 minutes ahead of schedule. I met some of the “land only” families at the airport — the Boys family and the Mohanty family — and we had a chance to chat while waiting for the rest of the group to come through. Once everyone had arrived, we headed to the bus, which was already waiting for us, and made our way to the hotel. Despite being a group of 43 people, check-in went very smoothly. After everyone settled into their rooms, the families had free time to relax and explore until dinner at 8:00 PM. The hotel provided a buffet for both breakfast and dinner, which was very convenient and well received by the group.
