Day 5: July 3, 2024

Our second day of the tournament started early. We had breakfast at 8 am and headed to the field at 10 am. Today we face a Japanese team that is actually a selection of players from Yokohama city. The Japanese team was very good technically and tactically, but once again we competed, although again the result was 0-2. The second defeat was tough but we supported each other as a team to get through. In the afternoon we went to eat to San Sebastian and take a short walking tour of the old town. Some of us ate pinchos, which are the equivalent of tapas in the Basque country. We finished the afternoon with a delicious gelato and returned to the hotel to rest, although of course, a little karaoke on our way back to the hotel is always good to lift the spirits.
