Day 2: June 30, 2024

We arrived early in Madrid and the tour directors were waiting for us at the airport. For our team, the TD who will go with us the entire trip will be Emiliano. We went to the hotel and left our suitcases. Afterwards we went on the bus to the city center and saw the Royal Palace, the Almudena Cathedral, Plaza de la Villa and Plaza Mayor. Afterwards we enjoyed a little free time to have lunch and some of us took the opportunity to do our first shopping. After, we walked to Puerta del Sol, where we saw kilometer zero and the Madrueño bear, then we passed by the Opera haouse and returned to the bus to go to the Santiago Bernabeu. On our way to the stadium we passed through the old gate of Toledo and lso the Alcalá Gate. We saw the Retiro Park and the Cibeles fountain, where Real Madrid fans celebrate their victories. We finally arrived at the Bernabeu but they are still undergoing renovations, so we couldn't take a good photo, however we entered the store where the biggest fans got a couple of t-shirts. At the end, we returned to the hotel to have dinner and rest, as tomorrow will be a long day.
